PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely check the airtightness of a drainage system as a whole by a siphonic force checking method which enables the visual check of the inside of a horizontally installed pipe of a siphon drainage system which is constituted in such a manner as to enable the check of air particles supposed to be mixed into water flowing through the pipe when its airtightness is poorer than that of this visual checked part, and which particularly causes the mixing of air under negative pressure. SOLUTION: In this siphonic force checking method, at least one place of the horizontally installed pipe for connecting a water-section fixture and a standpipe merging joint to each other, or a pipe joint is composed of a transparent member in the siphon drainage system, so that the flow of the water in the pipe can be visually checked. The horizontally installed pipe is numbered as 3; a transparent pipe is numbered as 5; and the pipe joint is numbered as 6. A visually checked part is indicated as A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
