PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sense of incongruity given to a driver at the time of releasing and enhance the passenger's feeling to get on a vehicle. SOLUTION: A brake controlling device for a vehicle is equipped with a pair of brake systems connected with at least a pair of brake shoes L1 and L2, respectively, and a controlling means 10 to perform an interlocked control of the braking forces of the brake systems in accordance with the prescribed distribution by operating either of the brake shoes L1 and L2, wherein the controlling means 10 makes a decremental control so as to drop both braking forces when the brake shoes L1 and L2 are released even if the distribution prescribed is in the condition with interlocked control such that with increase of one braking force, the other drops.
