<p>The present invention relates to a self-locking type manually tightened drill chuck. The drill chuck comprises a chuck body, a plurality of jaws, a nut connected to the jaws by thread, a rotational sleeve axially limited and used as operating the nut, a elastic locking element, and a ring element connected to the nut for mounting the elastic locking element. The chuck body has a saw-tooth ring engaged with the elastic locking element. The internal wall of the rotational sleeve has such a construction that controls the engaging conditions of the elastic locking element and the saw-tooth ring. The present invention solves the self-locking problem of the drill chuck by having the nut connected the chuck body fixedly. The present invention has the advantage of a simple structure, and it can be used for a single set of drill chuck and two sets of drill chuck. Further, the elastic locking element is mounted onto the nut by the ring element, so can simplify the processing of parts, and attain a convenience of assembling parts. Also, it can provide high locking force.</p> |
