<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device that can reproduce data and operates on a battery and to provide a user interface giving a user unified sense for operation even when a direction of the device varies. <P>SOLUTION: The reproducing device that can reproduce data and operates on a battery 43 includes a display means, an attitude detecting means to detect an attitude of the reproducing device, a determining means to determines whether the reproducing device satisfies predetermined conditions or not, and a controlling means to change settings of the reproducing device based on the detection result of the attitude detecting means when the determining means determines that the reproducing device satisfies the predetermined conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
