<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flexible base plate which can hold surely a flexible board even if it is made smaller in size (or thinner) and can have a high contact reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A connector is composed of a housing 14 having a board inserting part 13 into which a terminal connecting part of a flexible board 12 is to be inserted, and a plurality of contacts 15... held by the housing 14. The housing 14 includes a board supporting part 20 arranged continued with the board inserting part 13, and on the both sides of which include a retaining piece 22 and an anti-rising part 23 which is projected from a front part of the retaining piece 22 and which faces a bottom plate 16 with a board inserting gap 21 in between, and the terminal connecting part is to be inserted into the board inserting part 13 and the flexible board 12 is to be moved in a direction of a dislocation in a state that a narrow part 41 is placed between the retaining pieces 22 of the board supporting part 20, and an end part of the terminal connecting part of the flexible board is inserted into the base plate inserting part 21 and is made to contact the retaining piece 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
