PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an echo canceller capable of applying stable echo elimination without relying on the monaural nature of a reception signal. SOLUTION: The echo canceller is provided with: a reception signal analysis part 103 for receiving and inputting a voice signal of 2 channels to analyze match degree between the reception signals of the respective channels; a first adaptive filter set 101 comprising adaptive filters corresponding to extraction of a pseudo-echo signal of the reception signals of the two channels; a second adaptive filter set 102 comprising adaptive filters corresponding to extraction of the pseudo-echo signal of a monaural signal obtained from the reception signals of the two channels; a filter set selection part 104 for selecting either the adaptive filter set 101 or 102 in accordance with the analysis result of the match degree between the channels; and an echo elimination means for eliminating the pseudo-echo signal from a transmission input signal by using the selected adaptive filter to output it as a transmission output signal.
