PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox material which has a high performance for reducing water qualities, soil etc. and can realize an excellent decomposition cleaning environment. SOLUTION: The redox material of water/soil, etc. can be obtained by making seeds and incrustations, such as chaff and rice bran as a main material, solid ferment with an aerobic bacterium, wherein chaff of 30 wt.%, rice bran of 45 wt.%, bran of 15 wt.% and buckwheat chaff of 10 wt.% are mixed to be agitated. Water of 10-15 wt.% is added to this to give the fine-grained state of the degree which is not sticky to hand. Then this raw material is put into a fermentation bag (a hemp bag, etc.) which is thick and good in gas permeability, and is covered with another sheet to be kept in warm moisture at about 30°C further. The raw material begins to ferment in about one whole day and night and therefore the article temperature reaches about 50°C from about the second day. In this time, the raw material is turned up and down and rubbed to be disentangle to uniformize gas permeability and temperature, and then finishes a fermentation after five days to one week to become fine-grained.
