PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle antenna device which attains satisfactory receiving characteristics by suppressing reception of reflected/dispersed waves which cause deterioration of receiving characteristics of an antenna and which comes from the inside of a cabin, as regards an on-vehicle antenna mounted on a vehicle, especially for a radio set, a TV set, cellular phone system or a VICS system. SOLUTION: The receiving characteristic of the antenna is improved by suppressing the reception of reflected/dispersed signals by turning the maximum direction of the radiation pattern of the on-vehicle antenna device installed on the windshield of the vehicle to the front direction of the vehicle and turning the minimum direction of the radiation pattern to the rear direction of the vehicle.
