PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor having large capacitance and low impedance in a wide frequency range. SOLUTION: A polygonal shape capacitor body 4 is formed by alternatively laminating electrode layers 2, which are composed of a first electrode layer 2a and a second electrode layer 2b being alternatively arranged from lower side in this order, and a dielectric layer 3; at the periphery of the capacitor body 4, a plurality of first terminal electrodes 5 connected to the first electrode layer 2a and a plurality of second terminal electrodes 6 connected to the second electrode layer 2b are alternatively laminated; and the first terminal electrodes 5 or the second terminal electrodes 6 are provided on the corners of the capacitor body 4, when the first terminal electrodes 5 are formed on the corners of the capacitor body 4, the second terminal electrodes 6 are provided on lines x connecting a pair of the first terminal electrodes 5, and when the second terminal electrodes 6 are formed on the corners of the capacitor body 4, the first terminal electrodes 5 are provided on lines x connecting a pair of the second terminal electrodes 6.
