VIBRATION-TYPE TILTING DEVICE, AND IMAGE PROJECTION DEVICE HAVING TILTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-type tilting device which obtains a soft and natural screen by tilting light rays reflected on a digital micromirror device at a constant pitch and reflecting them on a screen, and to provide an image projection device having the vibration-type tilting device. SOLUTION: The vibration-type tilting device 10 repeatedly tilts the light rays reflected on the digital micromirror device 19 and the image projection device is equipped with the vibration-type tilting device. The vibration-type tilting device includes a tilting part 4 which periodically vibrates an incident light source at a constant angle and reflects, and a driving part which provides the tilting part with driving force. The vibration-type tilting device, which is damped by a viscous liquid when vibrates, periodically tilts the light which is made incident from the digital micromirror apparatus, thus the tilting part obtains the softer and natural picture and further reduces an overshoot and a remaining vibration wave at the tilting part.
