PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a carrying device of a thin base board material, for realizing stable carrying by eliminating carrying trouble by improving strength with stiffness by imparting a curved recess-projection shape to a base board material in the first place, and realizing the stable carrying by eliminating the carrying trouble even from this aspect by smoothly transferring the base board material between front-rear carrier rollers in the second place. SOLUTION: This carrying device 10 is used in a surface treatment device for treating a surface by injecting a treating liquid while horizontally carrying the base board material A in a manufacturing process of a thin circuit board. A wavy carrier roller 11 for gradually repeatedly forming a large diameter part 14 and a small diameter part 15 is adopted. This carrier roller 11 rotates in contact by vertically making a pair, and is arranged in a row in large numbers while making a little mutual clearance exist in the longitudinal carrying direction D. The large diameter part 14 and the small diameter part 15 are correspondingly positioned between the upper-lower carrier rollers 11 and between the front-rear carrier rollers 11.
