PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box capable of obtaining sufficient shock absorbing effects even at the center of a top surface to effectively prevent ampoules or the like stored in the packaging box from breaking and scattering by external shocks. SOLUTION: The packaging box S has a lower box part 30 with its top surface opened, an inner lid part 20 for closing part of the top surface, and an upper lid plate 10 covering the inner lid part 20 from upward to close the top surface and is assembled by folding a single box-forming base sheet 1. The inner lid part 20 is formed of a shock absorber forming plate 22 including a contact part 22a, a coupling support 22b and an inner lid plate 21 which are connected in this sequence via creases. The contact 22a is kept at a predetermined distance from the inner lid plate 21 by the coupling support 22b to form a double structure in the inner lid part 20. The coupling support 22b is provided at the contact position between the contact 22a and an article (preferably approximately at the center of the top surface) and has a length reaching from an end to the other end of articles arrayed in a line.
