PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book with a pull which is so designed that it eliminates projection of the pull to the front cover, the back cover and the shelfback of the book, saves on a space on the occasion of storage and facilitates takeout. SOLUTION: A notch or a groove is provided in a part from the front and back covers to the shelfback of the book, and a string or a metal fitting is so provided as to be held in the part of the notch or the groove.
