<p>Embodiments include a method and apparatus for cooling effluent flowing through a fluid-cooled duct. The apparatus comprises a base material having a bore therethrough through which effluent is flowable, and channel members and bar members operatively connected to the base material to form fluid flow paths around the outer surface of the base material for cooling fluid flow. Embodiments of the method include flowing cooling fluid from the first fluid flow path into the second fluid flow path and allowing heat transfer from the effluent to the fluid via the base material. Embodiments further include a method of forming the fluid-cooled duct.</p> |
