<p>The invention relates to an interchangeable-socket ratchet wrench (1) comprising an elongate housing (2) consisting of two halves containing a hub (3) with a finger (19) slidable therein, a ratchet (6) and a set of front, intermediate and rear toothed wheels (10a, 10b, 10c) and corresponding toothed cogs (11a, 11b) and a rack (13). The wrench further includes a slide (14) longitudinally arranged in the housing (2) meshing with the rear wheel (10c) via the rack (13) to rotate same, and a push rod (26) projecting from the housing (2) connected to the slide (14) to translate same. The push rod (26) is rotated and the slide (14) is provided with an angled aperture (9) having a roller (24) of the push rod (26) inserted therein in such a way that the rotational motion of the push rod (26) is converted into translational movement of the slide.</p> |
