摘要 A pixel circuit, a display device, and a control method of the pixel circuit are provided to keep the luminance uniform and to secure low power consumption and high contrast. A pixel circuit(101) for driving an electric optical element(113) of which the luminance is changed by the current includes a signal line(SGL101) to which a data signal corresponding to luminance information is supplied; at least a first control line(CTL101); a driving transistor(111) forming a current supply line between first and second terminals and controlling the current flowing in the current supply line according to the potential of a control terminal; a node(ND111) electrically connected with the control terminal of the driving transistor; and a first switch(112) connected between the signal line and the node, wherein the conductive state of the first switch is controlled by the first control line. The pixel circuit is controlled by setting a correction period for correcting the characteristic nonuniformity of the driving transistor, a write period for driving the first switch by the first control signal and writing the data signal in the node from the signal line, and a driving period for driving the electric optical element by keeping the written data signal, during one frame period; and operates according to a period having the correction, write, and driving periods and a period having only the write and driving periods without the correction period.
