PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a skew of a sheet, and to correct even a position of the side end in the carrying direction of the sheet. SOLUTION: This sheet skew correcting carrying device 300 has skew detecting sensors 43 and 44 for detecting the skew of the carrying sheet, a plurality of skew rollers 41 and 42 arranged in the direction for crossing with the carrying direction of the sheet and correcting the skew of the sheet while carrying the sheet by a sheet carrying speed difference, a side end detecting sensor 45 for detecting dislocation of the sheet from a reference position in the direction for crossing the side end in the carrying direction of the sheet, and a control circuit for individually controlling a sheet carrying speed of the plurality of skew rollers on the basis of a skew quantity and a dislocation quantity by determining the skew quantity and the dislocation quantity by detecting information from the skew detecting sensors and a side end dislocation detecting sensor.
