PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the body strength by increasing the rigidity of a part with high stress concentration such as parts in a vicinity of a corner part of an opening part of a side door and in a vicinity of a corner part of a wheel house outer panel in a side body with a side outer panel being combined with an outer side of an inner reinforcement assembly. SOLUTION: A side body structure of an automobile is a side body 1 in which a side outer panel 2 is combined with an outer side of an inner reinforcement assembly 21, and constituted by surrounding an opening part 200 of a side door. A wheel house outer panel 10 is expanded forward of the automobile and joined with a side sill reinforcement 9 extending along the longitudinal direction of the automobile, and has a rear pillar reinforcement lower member 12 to be respectively joined with the side sill reinforcement 9 and the wheel house outer panel 10. The lower member 12 is provided inside a corner part 200a of the opening part 200 across a joined part of the side sill reinforcement 9 with the wheel house outer panel 10.
