PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that all the luminous points can not be arranged near the center of a chip since restrictions exist in an interval between the respective luminous points according to a using wavelength band, though a stress applied to each luminous point varies corresponding to a distance from the center of the chip to each luminous point, and the farther the luminous point is apart from the center of the chip, the larger the stress applied to the luminous point becomes in a semiconductor laser device with a plurality of the luminous points. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser device with two or more luminous points has a simple ridge stripe structure for each luminous point. At least one of the two or more luminous points is arranged at a position of≥0% and≤15% of the width of a substrate from the center in the width direction of the substrate to the widthwise of the substrate.
