PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lean direct injection atomizer capable of lowering a combustion unstable level, capable of enhancing an atomizing condition, capable of enhancing an air-fuel mixture ratio, capable of reducing generation of a contaminant, capable of restraining smoke emission, and capable of enhancing a margin for interruption of lean combustion. SOLUTION: This atomizer is provided with a lean direct injection fuel nozzle for a gas turbine, and the fuel nozzle is provided with a radially outside main fuel distributor. The main fuel distributor is provided with a main inside air swirler 58 formed partially of a main inside air passage 66 having a radially inner wall 68 provided with a divergent downstream face, an intermediate air swirler 70 for supplying a cooling air flow along the downstream face of the radially inner wall 68 of the main inside air passage 66 provided in an inside of the main inside air swirler 58, and a radially inside pilot fuel distributor provided in an inside of the intermediate air swirler 70.
