<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear actuator including a quick release unit. <P>SOLUTION: The linear actuator principally comprises a power unit, a transmission system, a load coupling and the quick release unit. The quick release unit is mainly comprised of a rotary part, a non-rotary part and a release spring. The quick release system is coaxially arranged between the transmission system and the load coupling so as to transmit the power by connecting the rotary part to the non-rotary part by the biasing force of the release spring or to recover the power when not supplying power source to the load by separating the rotary and non-rotary parts from each other. Further, it is possible to control the magnitude of the biasing force of the release spring so as to adjust the speed and distance of recovery of the load, by adjusting a releasing angle of the release spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
