An air cleaner on which a button assembly having a plurality of buttons is installed without an additional clamping member is provided. An air cleaner comprises: a front case(100) and a rear case for forming external appearance of the air cleaner; a filter assembly having a plurality of filters to filter alien substances contained in air; a blowing fan installed at one side of the filter assembly to generate a flow of air; a fan motor installed at one side of the blowing fan to provide the blowing fan with rotary power; and a button assembly which is installed at one side of the front case and has a plurality of buttons for controlling operation of the air cleaner, wherein fixing ribs(182d) and fixing hooks(106) are correspondingly formed on the button assembly and the front case and clamped with each other such that the button assembly is closely adhered to the front case. The front case further has an auxiliary hook(108) for causing one end of the button assembly to be fixed to the front case. The button assembly has a power supply button(181') for turning on or off a power supply, and a plurality of operating buttons(182') for controlling operation of the air cleaner.
