<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent time taken until ejecting a sheet from being delayed without complicating the structure of an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus A has an image forming part to form an image on the sheet and a first ejection part to eject the sheet to a stacking part 22 existing at the upper of the apparatus. A relay conveying unit C to couple the first ejection part with another unit B in order to convey the sheet from the first ejection part to another unit B along the stacking part 22 can be attached to/detached from the first ejection part. A second ejection part D to eject the sheet to the stacking part is provided at the upper than the first ejection part, and has a switchback mechanism to convey the sheet into the apparatus again after temporarily exposing a part of the sheet to the outside of the apparatus in order to resupply the sheet to the image forming part after reversing both sides of the sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
