PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger device capable of determining an optimum charging mode depending on the degree of aging of a battery. SOLUTION: In the charger device that comprises a measuring unit for detecting at least one battery characteristic value, an arithmetic unit is provided that is structured to determine an aging-specific charging mode at least depending on a detected battery characteristic value.
