<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap without the need of executing work to the inner surface of a bat distal end. <P>SOLUTION: The cap 7 of a metallic bat 1 is to be fitted to a cylindrical part at the end 6 of the metallic bat 1. The cap 7 is composed of a semispherical end part 8 and a cylindrical interpolation part 9. Several lines of outer edges 10 projectes to form sharp ring-like projections 11 at the interpolation part 9, and the outer edges 10 projectes slightly beyond the cylinder inner diameter 13 of the bat 1. When fitting the cap 7 to the cylindrical part at the end 6 of the bat 1, the outer edges 10 of the ring-like projections 11 bend backward in the end direction 16 of the bat 1 and prevent the falling of the cap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
