PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified regulation and balancing system applicable to a cableway plant of a continuous or to-and-fro type provided with two hauling cables functioning in parallel. SOLUTION: The two cables are moved by two individual pulleys 1, 2 with separate winches. Operation chain of the two winches are connected by a device having a same structure as a differential device 9 for automobile in which an outer box is kept stop during regular operation. The two winches are mechanically restricted by this method and can rotate only at same speed. Corresponding difference of rotation speed is applied between shafts of two motors 3, 4 by rotating a differential box using an external device. Rotation is generated by using a small balancing motor reduction gear 15 operating a toothed crown 14 attached to the differential box as one unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
