PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front part structure of a vehicle capable of effectively absorbing impact by preventing crush amount of a vehicle front part from being blocked by a steering gear box at a time of head-on collision. SOLUTION: A steering gear box 12 is arranged on an upper part of a suspension member 4 to move to a lower part of a power unit 7 following deformation of the vehicle front part due to collision. Consequently, the steering gear box 12 moves to get into the lower part of the power unit 7 at a time of vehicle collision and it can be avoided that the steering gear box 12 is caught between the power unit 7 and other members of the vehicle in a vehicle front part crush direction. Consequently, the crush amount of the vehicle front part can be prevented from being blocked by the steering gear box 12 and impact can be effectively absorbed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
