An electrode mixture paste applying method comprising the first step of paying out a core material (2) wound in a coil shape, the second step of coating the opposite surfaces of the core material with electrode mixture paste (5), the third step of regulating the coating amount of electrode mixture paste, the fourth step of drying a paste-coated sheet (6) coated at opposite surfaces with electrode mixture paste, and the fifth step of taking up the paste-coated sheet into a coil shape, wherein electrode mixture paste is circulated and supplied by circulating means (9, 10) in the second step, and this circulating means uses an electrode mixture paste applying method having a storage function (9) and an agitating function (11) to achieve a stable coating accuracy even when paste-coated sheets are continuously produced using a plurality of lots of electrode mixture paste where a plurality of kinds of powder having large specific gravity differences are mixed.
