Process to regulate production of a metallic foil with first and second stage tools and forming drum

In a process to make an overlapping metallic foil (1) structure, a primary foil structure (2) is made with a first tool (3) and then passed on to a second tool (4) with a forming profile drum (5) that forms a secondary structure (6). The spatial position of the primary (2) and secondary (6) structures is then determined within a chosen section of the foil (7). There then follows correction of the drum (5) position.
