<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a printing blanket which applies an ink to the surface of a printing blanket, then transfers the ink to an intaglio printing plate and remove the ink for a useless part after bringing the blanket into contact with the plate, and transfers the residual ink of the plate to the surface of an object to be printed, with such features that the blanket has a surface printing layer, a base material and a porous layer formed in one piece, each layer being formed precisely and uniformly, and also can be manufactured simply and at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid mixture containing a liquid silicone rubber and a hollow microsphere is applied to one surface of the base material, and the porous layer with an uniform thickness and a uniform internal construction, is formed by curing the liquid silicone while keeping the base material horizontally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
