<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent connection failure of a flat cable and an electric connector while complying with a demand of making the mounting area of the connector to a substrate or the like small and low in height with respect to a coupler for flat cable fitted to the flat cable and a connector jointing body of the coupler and the connector at the time of insertion of the tip of the flat cable to the connector. <P>SOLUTION: The coupler for flat cable comprises a pair of clipping bodies 11, 12 with a width wider than the portion 23 where a plurality of conductors 201 of the flat cable 20 are arranged in a row, which clip the rear side portion than the tip portion 21 of the flat cable 20 with the front and the rear face 21a, 21b exposed, and the pair of clipping bodies 11, 12 have an engaging part 113 to engage with the connector 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
