<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly adjust the degree of a right angle between an X axis frame and a YL axis frame, a YR axis frame when power is applied, resulting in always highly accurate part mounting. <P>SOLUTION: This part mounting apparatus is provided with an XY stage in which the X axis frame 10 can be moved by a YL axis motor and a YR axis motor corresponding to the frames in an Y axis direction on each of the YL axis frame 12 and the YR axis frame 14 arranged in parallel. In this apparatus, a YL axial origin sensor 24 and a YR axial origin sensor 28 for defining with respect to the X axis frame the degree of a right angle between the X axis and the Y axis are provided on the YL axis frame 12 and the YR axis frame 14 with respect to a predetermined positional relation in the Y axis direction, respectively. The apparatus is provided with an initializing means for moving the X axis frame to an initial position where the degree of a right angle is secured with the YL axis frame and the YR axis frame on the basis of detection signals of the YL axial origin sensor 24 and the YR axial origin sensor 28 when power is applied to the YL axis motor and the YR axis motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
