PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed audio reproducing device capable of shortening the movement time between files when reproducing a compressed audio, and reducing joint time between pieces of music. SOLUTION: When an mp3 is recorded on a CD-R as the compressed audio, when the CD-R is reproduced for the first time, an ID3 tag 2 is analyzed, and the size of the data of the ID3 tag 2 recorded therein is acquired by a data size acquisition section 19 of the ID3 tag 2. By the top address data of the file and the data size of the ID3 tag 2, the top address of a first frame to which audio data are recorded for the first time in the file is calculated. The calculated top address of the first frame is recorded at the top address data recording section 22 of the file. After that, when the file is reproduced, and the reproduction is switched from the reproduction of other files to this file, audio data can be reproduced immediately with the adress data.
