PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle for display medium capable of obtaining unevenness firmly fixed to the surface of the particle, and also to provide an information display panel using the same dissolving the display failure or decrease in contrast ratio. SOLUTION: The particle for display medium displaying information by sealing a display medium between two substrates at least one of which is transparent, and by moving the display medium by applying an electric field is characterized by, (1) the particle is the approximately spherical particle made by polymerizing a particle raw material including a monomer, the particle raw material includes therein (acryl-based and methacryl-based) resin-hydrocarbon-based resin copolymer or copolymer with (acryl-based and methacryl-based) resin-(acryl-based and methacryl-based having hydrocarbon or fluorohydrocarbon at a side-chain) resin, a part or all of the monomer is a polyfunctional monomer having a plurality of polymerization reaction groups in one molecule, and the particle includes micro unevenness on the surface of the particle; and (2) the relative haze value of the particle is 0.2<H<0.9.
