PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic image developing toner which has such good fixing performance that even if fixed at such a low fixing temperature that a surface temperature of a transfer material becomes about 100°C, a formed toner image does not peel from the transfer material, and which is free from variation in the charge rising performance even after continuous mass printing. SOLUTION: The electrostatic image developing toner containing a binder resin and a colorant is characterized in that the toner contains a compound represented by formula (1) wherein R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>, R<SB>3</SB>each represent an alkyl group which may have a 10-30C substituent; and R<SB>4</SB>represents an alkyl group which may have a 4-30C substituent.
