PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of shortening times required for developing and manufacturing a product, and capable of controlling precisely a flow rate of a fluid, and a control method therefor. SOLUTION: This refrigerator includes a plurality of storage chambers 104, 106, 108; a valve 116 provided with at least one flow-in port 116a, and a plurality of flow-out ports 116b, 116c, 116d for supplying a refrigerant to the plurality of storage chambers 104, 106, 108; and a control part 102 for controlling the valve 116 to open only one of the flow-out ports, when supplying the refrigerant to at least two of the storage chambers.
