METHOD FOR THE PROVISIONAL STORAGE OF WASTE CONTAINING ORGANIC MATERIALS AND APPARATUS THEREOF

For the temporary storage of organic waste and the like, prior to the waste being put into bins or sent for collection by the bodies responsible for waste collection and disposal, the waste, collected in a loose form in bags (8) made of biodegradable material, is cooled in containers (4) equipped with refrigerating systems. Said containers (4) are also equipped with means (10) for the formation of a vacuum and for subsequent heat-sealing (22) of the same bags (8) when the volume of waste that can be contained therein is reached. Decomposition of the organic waste is thus slowed down, with consequent elimination/containment of unpleasant odours, and recyclable and biodegradable composting products are obtained.
