THE HYPHAE OF MUSHROOM CULTURED IN GINSENG DREGS, AND THE CULTURING METHOD

Provided are a mushroom mycelium, and a method for producing a mushroom mycelium by recycling the ginseng meal which is wasted as a by-product of a ginseng product. The mushroom mycelium is prepared by using a ginseng meal as a culture medium. Preferably the mushroom mycelium is any one selected from the group consisting of Lentinus edodes (BERK.) Sing. mycelium, Phellinus igniarius mycelium, Cordyceps militaris mycelium and Ganoderma lucidum mycelium. The method comprises the steps of dipping a ginseng meal in water of pH 5.0-6.0 to a water content of 50-55 % and sterilizing it; preparing a mycelium germ; and inoculating the germ into the ginseng meal culture medium.
