The nonwaste method for preparing the biologically active complexes isolated from the bird's-foot trefoil comprises the extraction of the minced overground parts of the plant with 70% ethanol, the evaporation of the mixture to the aqueous residue, the treatment with ten volumes of chloroform, the separation of lipophilic and aqueous fractions, the stripping of the lipophilic fraction to the lipophilic complex. The separated aqueous fraction is dried under the vacuum at the temperature of 35+- 5 DEGREE C, and the polyphenolic complex in the form of the dry extract is obtained.
