A method for treating wastewater is provided to be able to efficiently remove tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide from the wastewater through membrane bio-reactor process using Acinetobacter sp. IBN-H6. The method for treating wastewater comprising tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide is characterized in that it uses Acinetobacter sp. IBN-H6(deposition number : KCTC 10809BP) for the wastewater treatment. For the treatment, at least one strain selected from the group consisting of Kluvermyces delphenisis IBN-H1(deposition number : KCTC 0834BP), Bacillus cereus IBN-H4(deposition number : KCTC 0835BP) and Acinetobacter sp. IBN-H7(deposition number : KCTC 0836BP) is further added thereto.
