<p>The invention relates to a hinged door arrester (1) for vehicle doors, consisting of two hinge parts (2, 4) that are interconnected by a hinge pin (6) so that they can pivot about a rotational axis (8). The first hinge part (2) is configured to be fastened to a fixed vehicle frame (10) and the second hinge part (4) is configured to be fixed on the pivotable vehicle door (12). An arrester device (36) is integrated between the hinge parts (2, 4). The hinge pin (6) is rigidly fixed to the first hinge part (2) so that it can be detached. The arrester device (36) comprises a first functional part (38) that is rigidly and locally fixed to the hinge pin (6), in addition to a second functional part (40) that can be displaced with the vehicle door (12) and that consists of a housing (42) with an essentially cylindrical sector design, whose cross-section approximately forms a quadrant. Said housing is mounted on the hinge pin (6) so that it can rotate about the rotational axis (8) and holds the fixed first functional part (38). The arrester device (36) is configured as a continuously variable hydraulic system, in such a way that the second functional part (40) can be hydraulically arrested within a certain displacement area in any relative rotational position in relation to the first functional part (38) and can be displaced by the application of a breakaway torque that is in the first instance relatively high and the subsequent application of a relatively low displacement torque.</p> |
