An object of the present invention is to realize a highly-reliable image-forming apparatus. The image-forming apparatus comprises: an image carrier on which a latent image is formed; and a plurality of holders for detachably holding a plurality of developing devices, respectively. The developing devices develop the latent image formed on the image carrier with toner having colors that differ from each other.
