A method for controlling a refrigerating apparatus is provided to reduce the power consumption by optimizing the efficiency of the refrigerating apparatus according to temperature. In a method for controlling a refrigerating apparatus, a control unit(40) receives electrical signals to output sides of a high pressure sensor(10), a low pressure sensor(20), and a hydraulic sensor(30). The control unit compares the electrical signal from the high pressure sensor with a predetermined value to output a control signal to a cooling fan driving motor of a condenser, thereby controlling the rotational speed of a cooling fan. A control signal is output to a power source relay to interrupt a power source when an input value of the high pressure sensor is above a predetermined pressure or an input value of the hydraulic sensor is below a predetermined pressure.
