<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera with built-in stroboscope in which occurrence of the malfunction of a camera in supplying power source to the camera can be eliminated and also the built-in battery of the camera can be used for a long period of time by reducing the load on the battery. <P>SOLUTION: When a power source switch 17 is thrown in, power is fed from a power source circuit 27 to a circuit load unit 28 and a stroboscope charging circuit 30. Then, the value of a current flowing into the stroboscope charging circuit 30 is made to be suppressed at the value of a current equal to or smaller than the half of the value of a normal current by activating a current limiter 34 until the starting of the circuit load unit 28 is stabilized and completed. The charging over of the on and off of the current limiter 34 is performed at the same time of the completion of the counting by a changeover timer 37 when the power source is applied. Moreover, after the unit 28 is started, the on and off of the current limiter 34 is controlled by a signal from a stroboscope popup detecting switch 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
