<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide seat belt reminder method and device capable of surely giving an alarm of non-fitting of a seat belt without imparting unpleasant feeling and unnatural feeling to a driver and an occupant, while satisfying a prescribed regulation fixed in advance. <P>SOLUTION: By starting an alarm by synchronizing starting timing R from OFF to ON of a buzzer with starting timing D of OFF of a lamp, extension of a lighting period of the lamp is not recognized, while satisfying the prescribed regulation fixed in advance.
