Catalyst for the treatment of exhaust gas and a process for its preparation

Catalyst comprises a composition of palladium, tin oxide and a carrier oxide; a zeolite; and a dopant with which the zeolite is doped. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparation of the catalyst; and (2) a method for removing pollutants from exhaust gases of combustion engines comprising using a catalyst for oxidizing carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon, and simultaneously removing the soot particles by oxidation.
