摘要 A method for increasing thickness of a metal strip by melt drag casting process, which increases melt drag force of the thick metal strip by adsorbing and dragging a thick metal strip of 1.5 mm or more formed on the surface of casting rolls with high cooling efficiency, and solves both problems of improvement of casting rate and formation and dragging of the thick strip by improving efficiency of adsorptive power, thereby improving cooling rate of the casting rolls, is provided. In a casting technology for directly manufacturing a metal strip(4) by forming an ingot from molten steel and omitting a hot rolling process, a method for increasing thickness of a metal strip by melt drag casting process is characterized in that the metal strip is continuously manufactured by solidifying molten metal(2) on the surface of casting rolls(5) obtained by forming suction holes(pores,6) and suction grooves in a surface layer of melt drag casting rolls such that the suction holes(pores) and the suction grooves are penetrated into the outside.
