Hinged knee prosthesis

The prosthesis (1) is assembled of a tibia part (2) to be joined to the bone with its lower end (5), a meniscus element (4) resting on a plate (6) on top of the tibia part (2), and a femur part (3) joined to the lower unit (2,4) with a movable joint with curved sliding surfaces (22,23). The meniscus element (4) can be moved unlimited around a central axis. The motion of the femur part (3) is restricted by elevations (36,37) located laterally at a bearing sleeve (15) permanently joined to the tibia part (2).
