FILTRATION UNIT WITH DECANTER

A filtration unit comprising a multiple feed and bleed stage membrane battery and a three-phase-decanter is disclosed. The three-phase-decanter can be installed in-between the multiple feed and bleed stage membrane battery and the method applying said filtration unit is described as well. Furthermore it relates to a process for purifying starch hydrolysates and/or for isolating phospholipids and/or lyso-phospholipds.
