Hands-free control system for vehicles

The system has an identification device (6) including a sensor (11) for measuring pressure variations in an infrasonic frequency domain and a transmitter for transmitting a response signal to a central processing unit based on the pressure variations. A comparator compares the response signal with a reference signal to which the pressure variations are correlated in a vehicle inner space to determine the location of the device inside or outside a vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a control method of a hands-free control system of a vehicle.
